A Soap Set, a Marathon Clock and a Photocopier After Dark

Nobody would cast Malibu's busy end together on purpose. There's an actress who still goes back to a daytime soap and still signs for the Starship Troopers faithful. Beside her is a marathoner who spends her spare hours driving rescue dogs towards new homes. Then come a singer finishing her first record, a self-styled princess who makes art on a photocopier, a DJ who walks runways, and a goofy, sassy sweetheart who would happily give her Sunday to a sofa and a film. Hollywood polish sits right next to gallery-grade strangeness, and somehow it works.

The name still promises a lot, and this crowd treats it as an invitation more than an address. Some of them really do turn up on Malibu ground, on a hillside trail or a stretch of sand at golden hour. Others simply borrow the glow. Filed here are 41 creators, and the people below draw the most repeat visits.

Moving Pictures and a Personal Brief Win Malibu Over

The most popular Malibu pages don't share a hair colour or a taste for ink. The camera never stops with them, and a pen waits ready for requests. Among the busiest pages, 53% feature video, while the whole list manages 41%. Custom work outperforms its numbers by a wide margin, with a ready chat close behind. Tattoo-wise, this room gives slightly less credit than the wider one, oddly. In our reading, a town that grew out of spectacle leads people to choose motion and something made for them. Malibu is unsurprised: that shade gains a little ground too.

The People We Would Follow From Dragon Con to the Green Mountains

#1Tasha Reign: The Penthouse Pet With a Dream-Invite Policy

Invitations are the whole joke with Tasha Reign: not everyone, she warns, gets invited into her dreams. A Penthouse Pet with a long memory for glamour, she plays the bombshell knowingly. She is sweet enough to tempt and wild enough to keep people guessing, and seems happiest by a pool in full mermaid mood. Photographers keep coming back for her. Once she lent her own fairytale cottage to a friend's shoot, which shows she has an eye for a set as well as a lens. Something close to a living legend to her admirers, she still has a current-feeling page. She shares her latest photos and videos and takes messages from anyone with a dream of their own.

#2Denise Richards: The Starship Trooper Her Stylist Calls Mermaid

She has never hidden that Hollywood made Denise Richards famous. Starship Troopers fans still find her at Dragon Con. This year she was ambassador for a beauty awards night that raised money for the city's mounted police horses. Her long-time hairstylist calls her mermaid, a nickname she treasures. One recent shoot nodded cheerfully at Wild Things. At home, a golden retriever called Rose handles the cuddling. Her page greets newcomers with a knowing "you found me", which sums her up: famous, amused and still glad of the company.

#3Barbie Roberts 🏃🏼‍♀: The Marathoner Who Drives Rescue Dogs Home

Speed is the first surprise with Barbie Roberts 🏃🏼‍♀. A serious distance runner, she raced the Twin Cities Marathon and is now back on the track chasing that form. The second surprise is how much of her life belongs to dogs. She co-founded an animal rescue and has spent months working to get a Belgian Malinois called Hatchi to a forever home in Michigan. She also gives her own time to feeding the dogs at a North Hollywood encampment and getting them neutered. Her getaway of choice is a cold river in Vermont's Green Mountains. Her shrugging line, that yes, she's still on here, is pure dry wit. She does videos and custom requests.

#4Gwen Singer: The Laurel Canyon Singer With an EP on the Way

Gwen Singer puts music before anything else: an independent singer in Los Angeles, as the name promises. Her debut EP is in production and she has a stack of singles waiting to be mastered. Away from the microphone she plays opposite a lawyer friend in courtroom comedy sketches about dating disasters and baffling slang. Both festival dance floors and the desert light around Joshua Tree charm her, and she hikes the hills above Malibu. Bali has had her too. Still thinking of the Bay Area as home, she is forever lining up a trip back. Take the ride with her: the page feels warm, has the chat label, and your secret stays safe.

#5Soléil ෆ: The Photocopier Princess of Los Angeles

Equal parts artist and tyrant, Soléil ෆ has the most original mind on this page. In Los Angeles she makes her images the hard way. She presses herself against the glass of a photocopier or scanner and turns the results into glitchy grey collages she calls an ode to grey paper, lettered in gothic script. Melted men, as she tells it, become silhouettes in her gallows humour alongside altars and ashes, and she calls herself princess and man-eater. The main event sits behind a further door; here, in what she treats as an antechamber, are announcements and teasers, and she is sultry and commanding. Anyone who likes their flirting with a little menace will find her hard to resist.

#6AshlaySlays: The Vaporwave Selector With Runway Miles

Sound and spectacle meet in AshlaySlays, a DJ with a weakness for vaporwave and synth, flying saucers and all. Last November she walked the Echoes in Sand runway show at Academy LA. She has also spent a day on set for a music video and made new friends at every stop. She has spent golden hours on the sand at Malibu, and she will tell anyone that she likes the beach and animals more than most people. Her humour is pure internet: by her own scoring, every bold move earns her infinite aura. She offers private messages and real-time pictures for closeness, and she guards her work fiercely.

#7Shiann Nicole: The Woodland Soloist Who Takes Requests

Shiann Nicole keeps returning to woods and running water, seeming settled under trees or by a pool in the sun. A quick invitation to say hi awaits anyone passing her solo page of videos and custom requests.

#8malibu 💕: The Goofy Sweetheart With Sass in Reserve

Self-described as goofy, sweet and armed with sass, malibu 💕 lives up to it. She loves a little glamour, adores pink and would gladly spend a cosy Sunday night with popcorn and a film. She asks to be called simply malibu. Chat, custom requests, cosplay: she provides all of these, with a fuller gallery reached from her page.
