Where Sweden's west coast keeps its mischief close to home

Sweden's western coast includes Västra Götaland County, a län. Each person expresses that coastal ease differently. One spent the summer cursing a half-built campervan. One would move to Moominvalley tomorrow. Another quietly pays for a growing model railway.

What links them is a homely kind of flirtation. Nobody here sells the fantasy of being somewhere else. The appeal is someone you could meet at a berry farm café or a Skövde food stall, who then turns out to have a wicked streak. Throughout the county's 24 creators, that homely yet daring combination reappears.

Five Swedes we would follow from a Skövde food stall to a Krabi night market

#1kammifree: The Van Builder Who Cursed the Project, Then Finished It

Vanlife was always the plan, and this summer the plan finally got wheels. The campervan conversion took months of swearing and doubt. Then came a striking makeover in Lilla Edet, and people adore the stubbornness that got it over the line. Adventure connects forest hunting, a winter escape to Krabi and Ko Phi Phi, and eating fried insects plus a frog at a Thai market without showing distaste. The ink keeps growing too, with a return visit to a studio in Patong. Cheeky, outdoorsy flirting favours sly amusement over smouldering intensity. Try the OnlyFans taster without a subscription before progressing to the VIP page, which prioritises chat. A new kitten called Edith now rides along.

#2Swedenbbw: The Moominvalley Hopeful from Skövde

Skövde is home, but the heart lives in Moominvalley. Moomin Day in August counts as a holiday, and an offer to move to Tove Jansson's valley would be accepted on the spot. Swedish and Finnish flags fittingly fly alongside one another. Summer weekends revolve around food. There was the Skövde food festival, where the cevapcici from the Balkan wagon beat everything else on the day. There was fika at a Vareborg berry farm with a strawberry cordial worth the drive, an afternoon at the Varberg tropical aquarium and a day out in Gothenburg. Tim Curry gets lasting devotion, along with a running joke about sesame cake. With warmth, playfulness and a little mischief, this company could turn an errand into an outing. The OnlyFans page has the same cosy, teasing charm.

#3Viktoria Johansson: The Gothenburg Original Who Stays True

Gothenburg is home, and the attitude is pure defiance: stay true, and anyone who disapproves is welcome to disapprove. The OnlyFans page has the same sultry, self-assured edge.

#4Nicole Eriksson: The Swede Who Works From Your Idea

Custom content forms the heart of this OnlyFans page. Swedish through and through, the mood is sweet and flirty, and a fan's own idea is always welcome.

#5sweginger: The Model Railway Financier

Somewhere in Sweden a model railway collection keeps growing, and this OnlyFans page helps pay for it. That nerdy honesty is the charm. The fitness model label sits alongside a love of lazy sunny mornings, the slow days after Christmas with chocolate and a book, and the odd trip away. The flirting is confident and teasing, a come-here look followed by a grin. Collaborations with other creators are welcome.

Goth and blonde, in exactly the proportions of the whole county

Seek a secret formula in the county's busiest pages; a mirror awaits instead. The labels at the popular end match the full list exactly. Blonde appears on 46% of both and goth on 29% of both, and the same goes for tattoos, glasses, videos and custom work. That says something rather Swedish about the place. Popularity here doesn't reward a particular look or gimmick. It rewards temperament, which is why a van builder, a Moomin devotee and a railway collector sit comfortably side by side. Readers here choose people, not tags.
