A jazz-goer, a bunker photographer and a birthday that runs for weeks

On any given evening they are busy being themselves. A Finn is driving her BMW through a city at night, sure that the two of them could take on the world. A photographer of lost places is somewhere inside a bunker with her camera. A webtoon reader has gone quiet until the chapter ends, and a horror-game fan is bracing for the next jump scare. A Kamakura stroller is planning afternoon tea in careful Japanese, and a deadpan wit is ruling on artificial intelligence in Chinese and English. Somewhere between Kuala Lumpur and Borneo, a cheerful woman is still celebrating a birthday that started weeks ago.

Home for most of them is Malaysia, the Southeast Asian federation that the South China Sea splits in two: the peninsula on the mainland, and East Malaysia across the water on Borneo. Both halves turn up in these names, from Kuala Lumpur, the national capital, to the Borneo side. A few bring other places with them too: Finland, Japan, Canada and Hong Kong all run through their stories.

Chat, costume and a willingness to write back

Malaysia's favourites like to talk. Against 12% of the full list, 36% of them offer chat, and those who do here make a point of handling the messages themselves. Cosplay and anime are much rarer across the full list than with these women. Here, Kingdom Hearts, Evangelion and Naruto are ordinary conversation, and that fits. Videos and custom content show the same pattern. In our reading, fans here go for someone with a hobby to share and patience to answer, with cosplay giving both sides something to talk about.

Who these favourites are off the clock

#1Milla 🩵 🚫: Finnish lie-spotter with a BMW for a wingman

The jazz in Björneborg, in western Finland, was where Milla 🩵 🚫 spent July, and the wheel is where she spends the other months, convinced that she and her BMW can beat the world. Anyone who actually knows her is banned from answering a round of spot-the-lie, which she loves, and she writes admirers in Finnish. What they come back to is her kindness: she builds other people up even in their bad weeks. She does without hired chatters on her OnlyFans page, being sultry, firmly in charge and a porn star. It has long videos, role play and a festive calendar series of 24 full-length episodes. A second account carries on where this one stops.

#2Meowbarbie: Reluctant workout starter with an Evangelion sidekick

Any workout, in Meowbarbie's experience, is easier than the part where she has to get herself outside first. She will happily hover at the door and call it mental preparation. Once she is out, she likes to walk the city after dark, never turns down a picnic and has adopted a piece of Evangelion merchandise as her new bestie. Soft, scatterbrained in the most endearing way and plainly flirty, she has the charm of someone who never quite has it together and does not mind. On OnlyFans she mixes videos and chat. She types every reply herself between lectures, so a little patience helps.

#3yinsdere: Sleepy brunch lover lost in a webtoon

Canada, Hong Kong and Malaysia all belong to the story of yinsdere, and her humour moves between the three with ease. She is a Kingdom Hearts loyalist and a webtoon devotee who will happily leave a message waiting until the chapter ends. She takes brunch seriously, and her favourite emoji is, inexplicably, the peanut. Her life updates come out as gleeful little rambles, and she warns everyone fairly that she is a sleepy creature. With cosplay, custom content, videos and chat on offer, she keeps her OnlyFans in her own hands, without agency or bots; sultry, never far from a giggle.

#4ESHA ROSES: Kuantan beachgoer back on the gym floor

Home is Kuala Lumpur for ESHA ROSES, but September pulled her east to the Kuantan coast, and Singapore keeps drawing her south. After a few weeks off training this summer, she marched back to the gym as cheerfully as if she had never left. She marks Hari Raya with real warmth. Flirty, glamorous, she makes her OnlyFans page about videos.

#5Alissa Sky: Happy virus with a horror-game nerve

Happy Virus is what Alissa Sky calls herself, and she lives up to it. She has more energy than any room needs and an anime habit that runs from Naruto to Dan Da Dan. She also has the nerve to take on Freddy Fazbear's haunted pizzeria with every shriek on show. Cute one minute and teasing the next, she leaves people grinning. Video calls are occasional and depend on time, while OnlyFans offers chat and custom content.

#6xoxoshybabe: Runway founder who made peace with imperfection

Running her first runway show taught xoxoshybabe something useful. She wanted the evening flawless, it was not, and she decided an imperfect life suits her better anyway. Away from the runway she is an amateur tattoo artist, a makeup artist and a loud believer in self-love. She also jokes that she is open around the clock, like a Waffle House. Nothing embarrasses this glamorous, bold woman, and her OnlyFans specialises in custom content with requests turned round fast.

#7Military Mia: Lost-places photographer with an aviation streak

Abandoned buildings and old warplanes are what get Military Mia out with a camera. She collects military memorabilia and photographs lost places, and she likes her subjects weathered and full of history. The air force is the side of herself she leads with. Her flirting is sunny and direct. On her OnlyFans page every message gets a reply from her, and she takes custom requests alongside videos and chat.

#8Momo Chin: Afternoon-tea dreamer of Kamakura lanes

Slow and easy is the motto of Momo Chin, and her treats match it. There is an afternoon tea she is still daydreaming about, and a Golden Week stay at a Yokohama resort hotel that left her completely unwound. There was also an amble along Kamakura's Komachi-dori. Cherry blossom season is her favourite backdrop. She writes in courteous, unhurried Japanese and hopes to befriend anyone with the same tastes. Quiet and graceful, she is on OnlyFans with videos.

#9Yeenie: Birthday stretcher from Borneo to the capital

Birthday celebrations last all month for Yeenie, who thinks birthdays deserve the whole month. Cheeky and flirty, with a clown emoji ready for her happiest moods, she moves between Borneo and Kuala Lumpur. Her OnlyFans page holds cosplay and videos.

#10姬子: Bilingual deadpan who sides with the machines

AI was crowned the best thing going by 姬子 on Christmas Eve, perfectly deadpan. She flips between Chinese and English and admits cheerfully when something has her stumped. She also does things simply because she fancies it. Her OnlyFans operates on those very terms.
