An island on a rift, and favourites who roam well beyond it

Iceland sits out in the North Atlantic on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, the seam between Europe and North America, and the ground has never quite settled. Geysers and frequent volcanic eruptions come with the address. It is Europe's westernmost country and its most sparsely populated, a Nordic island with Icelandic as its official language.

A small country produces a small list: 104 creators, and the people at the top of it are a mixed crew. Some are Reykjavík through and through, such as Birta Blanco and 😈BarbieBinna😈 %. One is a farm girl putting herself through film school. Distance leaves several representing Iceland from Sofia, Florida and Oahu. Nerve unites them, as does joking drily about a homeland that occasionally catches fire.

Eight we would trail from a Reykjavík dome to the sand at Waikiki

#1§lïm§: The Scorpio With a Metalcore Ticket Stub

Far from any geyser, §lïm§ lives in Saint Petersburg, Florida, with no apparent intention of explaining herself. A Scorpio and proudly Palestinian, she is a sultry, dark-edged presence with a soft spot for loud rooms: metalcore gigs one month, an Akon show with her best friend the next. Nights out account for half the fun she brings. Longer videos, requested custom content and occasional surprises through subscriber messages accompany unfailing daily updates from OnlyFans' strictly solo worker, whom nobody here outworks. Collaborations and meeting in person are firmly off the table.

#2𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 💕 ᴠɪᴘ: The Sagittarius Who Photographs the Eruption

Nothing beyond hot water and sharp air defines the natural habitat described for Icelandic Sagittarius 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 💕 ᴠɪᴘ. She is cheeky, warm and a self-declared free spirit, happiest in steaming water with the cold biting, shooting among the Reykjavík domes or pointing a camera at the latest volcano. Halloween sends her down the rabbit hole to Wonderland, and she has a kind word for anyone measuring themselves against the internet. New arrivals are asked to message her their fantasies; her OnlyFans page provides the videos and real stories. Her second, complimentary OnlyFans page introduces this one.

#3❄ Icethot1❄: The Farm Girl Saving for Film School

Raised on an Icelandic farm, ❄ Icethot1❄ is paying her way through a film education, which explains the care in everything she shoots. Cosmetics and special effects artistry occupy her beyond filming, alongside acting and veganism; artist remains her foremost identity. Reykjavík is her city, horror her October mood. The allure is commanding more than coy: she works as a professional domme, is online daily and carries the site's cosplay label. Through her second, complimentary OnlyFans page, she demonstrates the work's production.

#4😈BarbieBinna😈 %: The Reykjavík Loyalist With a Burger Order

Reykjavík belongs to 😈BarbieBinna😈 %, or so she tells it, and the city seems happy with the arrangement. Glamorous with a mouthy streak, she is loud about Halloween and louder still about burgers and fries. Her OnlyFans page has stayed quiet this year.

#5The IceQueen: The Cover Model Judging Spring Queens in Sofia

Nobody on this page knows a professional photo studio better than The IceQueen, an Icelandic model and actress with Playboy, Maxim and FHM covers behind her. These days her base is Sofia, Bulgaria, with summer on the coast at Sveti Vlas and a seat on the judging panel at the Spring Queen pageant. The mood is polished, glamorous and knowingly flirtatious. Luxury wrapped around a little trouble is her own phrase for it, usually followed by a line of Buddha over coffee. Her diva act and underlying warmth win people's affection. Ask through her OnlyFans for aesthetic consultations and fitness tips; photoshoots, chat and live streams also feature.

#6Bunny_devil: The Tease Who Takes Her Hellos in Cash

Greetings, for Bunny_devil, should arrive in cash, a running joke that sums up her cheeky, playful way of flirting. Solo OnlyFans work and custom content requests define her offering from Iceland; the site assigns her the fitness model category.

#7marissa_oahu: The Selkie of Waikiki

Pineapple juice is the safe word, which sets the tone for marissa_oahu: funny first, sultry a close second. She lives on Oahu, Hawaii, studies at the University of Hawaii and spends the hours in between on the sand at Waikiki, swimming, running the shoreline and occasionally flopping onto it for a laugh. Neither Spanish nor English presents her more difficulty. An aspiring model with a fitness habit, she puts her good fortune down to the luck of the Irish. After some thought she has decided she is a selkie from Celtic myth and not a siren, having no wish to harm anyone. Honolulu's airport, she insists, is the prettiest in America. Her modelling ambitions get their airing on OnlyFans.

#8Birta Blanco: The Podcast Guest With a Phone-Call Sketch

Comedy comes naturally to Birta Blanco, who can turn a phone call asking for money into a sketch and bills herself as chief executive of making an entrance. She lives in Reykjavík, fits yoga into an ordinary day and has lately been a podcast guest, talking frankly about power, control and what working life in adult film is really like. There is a thoughtful streak too: she writes about time and the earlier versions of herself with real feeling. Sultry and self-possessed, with a brat's grin. Playing games and entering giveaways are options on her OnlyFans, which points towards VIP.

A blonde island, and blonder still where the crowd gathers

Blonde is already the commonest label in Iceland, and it tightens its grip where the attention goes: 70% of the most popular creators carry it, against 49% of the whole list. Ink follows the same path at a gentler slope, as do the video and solo labels, which suggests Icelandic fans favour a tattooed woman running her own camera over a crowded production. Affection gains nothing from custom work, which appears slightly less frequently for favourites than for the full list. And the darkest heads thin out noticeably towards the busy end. Our reading: the Nordic blonde wins the first glance in Iceland, and personality has to do the rest.
