Methodology

How the numbers on this page are calculated. Full glossary, caveats, and source citations are collapsed below.

Active creator = a publish-status profile (m.publish=1) tagged anywhere in Australia's location subtree. Idle / abandoned accounts sort to A$0 estimated revenue and don't influence the Top-1,000 / 50 / 10 brackets, but they are included in the headline counts so the per-region totals match what users see when browsing the underlying location pages.

Yearly creator revenue is modelled, not observed. We start from OnlyFans' disclosed FY platform creator payout of 5.78B USD (80% of platform revenue) and attribute it by each creator's share of platform engagement:

signali = 0.5 × (followersi / Σfollowers) + 0.5 × (likesi / Σlikes)
revenuei = signali × pool

The Σ denominators are computed across every publish-status creator in our database (Σfollowers = 415.8M, Σlikes = 6.50B at last refresh). 50/50 weighting is deliberate: it values reach and engagement equally, neither penalises free-tier creators (who would zero out under a price-based model) nor newer creators (who don't yet have lifetime likes).

Coverage caveat. The full pool is allocated across creators in our database. Findapeach indexes a large but incomplete sample of OnlyFans, so absolute dollar figures should be read as this creator's share of the modelled pool attributable to indexed creators, not this creator's observed earnings. Top-creator monetisation efficiency (whales, custom content, PPV strategy) varies and is not captured; the model assumes engagement share == revenue share.

FX: 1 USD ≈ 1.520 AUD - all AUD amounts on this page are converted at this rate.

Region revenue = sum of modelled revenue for all creators in that subtree.

Top-1,000 / 50 / 10 averages = mean of the top-N modelled revenue values within each region.

Comparable Profession = highest rung of a Australia-localised salary ladder (the table directly under the main earnings table) whose annual salary sits at or below the bracket average. Bracket averages below the ladder's floor map to "Below Full-Time Wage".

Gender % = each gender's share of the known-gender total (female + male + trans). Blank / unknown is excluded from the denominator so trans-creator share doesn't round to 0 from dataset noise.

Min-wage diff (% Diff vs Yearly Min Wage) = (avg_yr - min_wage) / min_wage × 100, both in AUD. The min wage on this page is the most recent national minimum wage reported by official sources.

Ranking columns: "Rank (No. Models)" sorts by absolute active-creator count; "Rank (Density)" sorts by per-capita density (creators per 100K adults). They are distinct rankings and will disagree for small-population, high-density regions.

Region scope: state / region rows include only sub-locations with at least 15 active publish creators (smaller sub-regions fold into their parent's totals). Cities use the same 15-creator floor and only render when a country has at least 8 such qualifying sub-locations.

Source data: Findapeach.com creator database. One profile = one row. Engagement counts (followers, likes) come from the OnlyFans public API at scrape time; revenue is modelled from those values via the formula above.

Limitations & Important Caveats

  • Extrapolated vs. observed counts. The Total Models figures in these tables are statistical estimates, not direct counts. They will be higher than the raw profile counts shown elsewhere on the site. The site shows observed profiles with a usable location; the analysis tables extrapolate to account for unlisted creators. Both are valid - they answer different questions.
  • State/city attribution uncertainty. When a profile lists a city, it is assigned to the state containing that city. For ambiguous location strings (e.g. "Springfield"), the most populous matching city is used. Some mis-attribution is inevitable at scale.
  • Revenue allocation is modelled, not measured. OnlyFans does not publish state-level or city-level earnings data. All revenue figures are derived from the engagement-weighted distribution model - a statistically grounded estimate, not a direct measurement.
  • Mean vs. median. Avg Annual/Model is an arithmetic mean. The earnings distribution is highly skewed - the majority of creators earn substantially less than the reported average.
  • Census industry comparisons are approximations. The comparable industry figures are selected to be the closest available match from Census data. Industry revenue figures are for fiscal year 2022 (or 2017 where unavailable) and may not reflect current conditions.
  • City validation gate. Only locations that match a known city in the reference database are included. Cities absent from the reference database are excluded even if they appear in profile data.
